About Me

My name is Valentina and I am a newborn photographer.

I was born and educated in Italy where I lived until I moved to the UK with my husband in 2007. We’ve always lived around Clapham and found it a really nice place for families.

I set up my business in 2010, gaining a few years of experience in the industry and a few awards.  I am passionate about my job and I feel blessed capturing the most precious moments in families’ life.  A photograph to me is not just a picture. It is a memory, a story, an experience, an emotion, a moment that otherwise will be forgotten. It is an expression of art.

This is me and my daughter in the photo. I don’t have many of us together, as I am behind the camera most of the time, probably like many of you.  That’s why is even more special to me. Wouldn’t you love, as a mum, to be in front of the camera with your baby, your child? In 20, 30 years these photos will be just priceless.  In a newborn session, a baby in mum’s arms is always the most powerful and emotional image you could get.  The power of being with your baby. A baby that in only a few weeks won’t fit in your arms in the same way. I am a portrait photographer and I freeze time for people. Let me help you too by stopping the time and giving you the most amazing photos of you and you baby.

I am proud to be a member of the British Association of Newborn Photographers (BANPAS).

This association promotes safe working practices with newborn and baby photography, ensuring that baby’s comfort and safety takes priority whilst creating beautiful images for parents to treasure.
For this reason, I keep educating and training myself with courses and workshops related to baby safety, newborn posing and all the aspect of this industry.

I am also proud to be one of the volunteer photographers for Remember my Baby.

It’s a UK registered charity whose professional photographers volunteering their photography services for the benefit of UK parents losing their baby before, during or shortly after birth.

Thank you for visiting, I hope you enjoy my work and I’d love to hear from you, your story, connect even if it’s simply to say hello!
