Baby Gabriele – Portrait Photography Clapham Battersea

I loved this session! Baby Gabriele was just a bit more than 3 months old, which is a nice age where the babies start to be more engaging and smiley and they have a clear a recognition of mum and dad. The milestone to photograph at this stage is the tummy time. They are able to lift their head and hold it for a while and if sitting with support they may be able to hold the head steady and erect. So we tried both of them and he was very ready.

Mum and dad also wanted to capture a few moments with the older sister, and it was actually pretty sweet. She was very into being photographed and she cuddled and kissed her baby brother very naturally.

Of course I always encourage parents to be in the pictures with their babies and children and we captured some nice family time .

Here a few images from the session.

Friday review – Bob and Flo

Yeah it’s Friday!! And best of all it’s the beginning of a long weekend this time and I really looking forward to some relaxing time (hopefully!)

This Friday I wanted to talk about the book Bob ad Flo the missing bucket, that we discovered last week at the Storytime Sunday at the Doodle Bar in Battersea. This is our second time to this fabulous monthly event and you can read about last month book here.

Rebecca Ashdown herself read her book, which is the nice story of a penguin on her first day at nursery. She packed her lunch, got some fish in a bucket, a lovely new bow on her head, all ready for her big day! But then her bucket got missing, so she looked everywhere until she found it with another penguin called Bob and become friends. After the story everyone went outside for a bit of crafty time, to create their own Bob and Flo. Paint and brushes, pom poms and pipe cleaners, pens and colours, everything to have some fun!

There was also a competition for the funniest penguin and Amy won Bob and Flo book! We’ve been reading it for the past week and she is really enjoying the story 🙂

Then, in the second hour of the morning it was all about dinosaurs. Julia Patton read the book Fi-Rex and then out again to colour and create their own rex!

Again very fun morning, if you have the chance try to attend next event on the 28th June. Book it here and enjoy it 🙂

Patty – Maternity photos Clapham – Battersea

I realised I never blogged about this maternity session.

It was done in December last year and I only posted a sneak peek and never actually posted more photos.  This beautiful woman is Italian too, I met her years and years ago when we both were children because she used to come to my little mountain village for her summer and winter holidays 🙂

Fast forward 15 years or more and we both have family in London. Not to talk about her partner who is from the same village I’m from and followed her here. Life is pretty strange sometimes, isn’t it?

I photographed her bump in my studio where she came with fiancée and her 6-year-old-daughter.

And she kindly appeared on my promo video too that was filmed on that day. During the session we played a bit with some fabrics and tulle and the last photos was actually a kind of experiment. Her daughter, probably like all the girls of this age, is in love with Frozen so the idea was to create something that reminded snow and the princesses. 🙂
